The largest desktop resin 3D printer on the market today. Print gigantic models and prototypes, or scale-up your production with the Peopoly Phenom XXL.

Phenom XXL is the latest and the largest 3D printer by Peopoly for the Phenom Series. Using the same MSLA technology and improvements in the light engine, we developed XXL, a printer that has 22 times build volume of a Formlabs Form 3.

Phenom XXL With a build volume of 527 × 296 x 550 mm. Phenom XXL is 500% Bigger than Phenom and over 4 times bigger than Form 3L. With an industrial-grade 4K panel, XXL is ideal for high volume production and extra-large model. With all-new build plate designs, Phenom XXL is as easy to run as other Phenoms while offering the ability to print large models without splitting. XXL also runs on the same Deft and Neo resins as Phenom so users can stock the same consumables.

MSLA is much faster than other resin technology when printing a large object or a full plate of small objects because the entire layer is cured of resin. Peopoly’s customized light engine has even more light distribution than other printers using MSLA technology and a cooling system to improve print results while extending the life of the mask.

    MSLA Technology

Unlike the Moai printers, the Phenom uses MSLA technology which utilises an LED array light-source and an LCD photomask. Similarly to DLP, the layer image is displayed as square pixels. Individual pixels are deactivated on the LCD in order to allow light from the LED array to pass through and photo-cure the resin. Instead of the layer being traced by a laser - as used in the SLA Moai printers - each layer is printed in one flash (exposure), thus significantly reducing the print time.

    ChituBox Slicing Software

The Peopoly Phenom utilises the popular and well-established ChituBox slicing software. Useful features include: Auto-arrangement of models on the build plate, automatic and manual support structure generation, model editing such as Hollowing - which is great for reducing the amount of resin used and improving print reliability.

    Modular Design

The Phenom is designed and built with future upgrade options in mind. It's modular design ensures that it will be compatible with future upgrades and add-ons such as cooling or lighting systems.

    Resin Options

The Deft resin has been developed by Peopoly to be ideally suited to the specifications of the Phenom and LCD printing. Designed to be cured with lower energy requirements, it can print larger objects faster.
The Phenom is also compatible with other suitable third-party 405nm UV resins.
